Rodin: The Centenary Exhibition

Master sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) was and remains a grand source of inspiration and fascination for artists and public alike. The year 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of his death. Among the shows scheduled to open this year to commemorate the centenary, the Grand Palais in Paris will open Rodin: The Centennial Exhibition this spring (March 22, 2017 – July 31, 2017).

This comprehensive exhibition will feature over 200 works by Rodin – sculptures, drawings and photographs – exploring all facets of his creative universe. Alongside Rodin’s work, the exhibition will also present sculptures and drawings by artists he influenced such as Bourdelle, Brancusi, Picasso, Matisse, Giacometti, Beuys, Baselitz and Gormley.
