Chiharu Shiota: Destination

Performance and installation artist Chiharu Shiota is best known for her large-scale site-specific installations of woven yarn that fill up entire rooms and exhibition spaces. Galerie Templon’s exhibition Chiharu Shiota: Destination is one such example and features, among others, Shiota’s installation Destination (2017) with which she wraps up an entire room in a complex web of red yarn.
