Some Stupid Bitch Killed Ana Peaceful: An Of Potters’ Demons production, Paris.

Eight women, four conversations and a murder that shakes up the feminist theatre and film scene. Some Stupid Bitch Killed Ana Peaceful, written and produced by Anton Bonnici is a new erotic comedy with a feminist twist. The play draws inspiration from the life of Valerie Solanas, a radical feminist thinker and writer of the 1960s who called for the elimination of the male sex in her outrageously scathing SCUM Manifesto and who is perhaps most well-known for almost fatally shooting Andy Warhol on June 3, 1968. Five decades later, Some Stupid Bitch Killed Ana Peaceful adopts the defiant spirit of Solanas to a contemporary world where women continue to be told how and what to say, think or do and where acts of defiance and rebellion continue to be shunned. Some Stupid Bitch Killed Ana Peaceful, English Theatre in Paris | Urban Mishmash
